So it just freezes when you turn it on? Lets see you can try all the usual methods, taking off your hard drive, unplug ac adapter/video/ehternet, and then if you don't have the warranty anymore then you can dust it out, change the x-clamps, new thermal paste, new 3rd party fan for extra cooling, and if the gpu has become unsoldered (how old is it?) then you will have to try like the towl trick or any of the other tricks for soldering the gpu back into place, then doing the above. But since it's freezing, and not rrod I'm not sure exactly. I'll try and look into the problem.

My advise would be to send it into microsoft for a few weeks and then (if u cant wait) go rent a 360 from EB games or something.

If its still under warranty then call support. They will send u a box and u put ur 360 in that. Send it away and it will come back good as new.
Idk it will cost money. Iv never had to send mine in before.

If it had RROD, and then it didn't but still doesn't have video then that definitely sounds like a gpu problem to me. But if it has a warranty I say def turn it in to M$. Just check the manufacturers date on it. All xboxs have a 3 year warranty. You might have to pay a little, but if the warranty is out then you would have to pay a lot more. Thats why most people who don't have a warranty just fix it themselves. You can use my tutorial on how to open your xbox in the tutorials section. I'll have to make more on how to add a 3rd party fan and stuff though :p Xboxscene have nice tutorials though in the forums.

I doubt it...I would try sending it in to Microsoft and see what happens. No harm in trying.

Probably still has a warranty. Go ahead and contact them and see whats up with it. Like bkf said, ain't going to hurt man. That is unless the postman steals it and decides to take it home and fix it himself and play it. That would be bad...
