I have a one day experience with that program.... I was learning (at least trying) to learn basic c++ but then i wrote a few lines and commands and never knew what the use (being 13 might have helped) was so I quit and since I it was c++ I have no knowledge of any extensions...

Well, they are similar to Firefox. You can add things to change backgrounds of the environment, or you can have add-ons to make the program more compatible with other file types like LUA.
Here are some of mine that I've already downloaded:
• Background Themer
• Hide Active Menu
• LUA Language
• Selection Highlighter
• Tip of The Day

I can't help you there, I use Bloodshed Dev C++, although I did download Visual Studio 2008 yesterday to get familiar with it. I guess the add-ons would work with 2008 as well?

I'm sure that some of them would but to get the newer ones, you'd need the newer program?
@Da Cool Man: There are countless lists out there and there are countless blog posts about this, too. I just wanted to know some people's experiences, first hand. You know? I could look at the ratings for a movie or I can ask people I know. Same kind of scenario.

LUA will never be included in visual studio seeing as it doesn't compile
nor is it actually a language, it's an interpreted language.

And yeah Bloodshed ftw :P
