While the modchip may be coming out soon, personally I'll be waiting until something more commercial is released. I REALLY don't want to mess up my wii...

I just realized something... as far as i know no one's been able to even COPY games. Last I heard no one was sure if the wii read the disc out-in or in-out. If anyone put the disc in their comp than it would freeze. If that video is real then this guy managed to crack the whole package.

Then again I could be mistaken and someone has already managed to copy games... I have just not heard of it.

Well, I was wrong... it is possible to dump a wii disc on your PC apparently. The only problem is that the only way to test if copies work are this 1 modchip. There is a utility out there that will allow you to dump games onto your PC. You have to have it for your DVD drive to even read the Wii disc. I haven't tried it as of yet since there is no way for me to test it.

Pictures of the wiinja install. Looks like this will be kosher for updates and online play since this connects to the DVD drive rather than the motherboard. It's on preorder in some places for $55 w/o shipping.
