Geexbox dvd?

I must use modchip to use Geexbox to load dvd'S right?Or is there some hack which i can load non-nintendo dvds without modchip?

Download and install PatchMii and DVDX. Then use the Wii port of MPlayer (not MPlayerWii) to watch DVDs. Keep in mind it is still being worked on and is not perfect. No modchip required.

so i cant use Geexbox...And is there some threath of patching?
and if i cant use that...can you post a link to the wii port of mplayer?I am not sure if i can find it-...where are you searching apps for wii?

Of course, with any modification there's some threat of bricking... but i haven't heard of anything happening with those 2 apps.

CAN I USE GEEXBOX?
If not post the link to mplayer
and where do you search for the apps?
can i use that DVDX or whatever to load "backups" of my games?

First of all, please don't double post. And have a little patience.
I don't know of GeeXboX being able to play DVDs, so use MPlayer. You can find it at
www.wiibrew.org
DVDX does not run backups. You need a modchip for that.
