Is there a Homebrew app that allows me to watch movie files from a disk? (Files such as .AVI, .MKV, etc.)

it depends on what you mean by "disk" if you mean DVD then yes there is an app

Yeah, I meant a DVD disk, my bad. If you wouldn't mind, could you tell me which app/apps that would be?

Yeah, but first install DVDx using ios 36(normal install)
DVDX: http:\\static.hackmii.com/dvdx.zip

Ah thanks, but it seems from what I have read in the Readme that you can't play DVD data disks, oh well.
