i dont know how to install the latest patch. it doesnt show up on the list of apps. i am pretty sure i have the latest update of miipatch and wii shop, i downladed it but i cant get it on my wii. i will need to use the shop channel pretty soon too

It helps to not update every time there is an update. Unless you know a game you're wanting to play has an update, there's no reason. They make these updates to stop you from using homebrew. Just stop updating until it's necassary.
