Is there anyway to play my Wii Backup Discs on my Wii without a Mod Chip?

I'm guessing that you wanted to download the games and they came in .7z files? It is a compression file. Download winrar and you can open up the files and get the file you want.

In this case, please dont just edit your original post since a reply has been posted. Make a new post.
Anyway, there is a backup loader that has been released for the Wii. I don't know too much about it because I have a modchip. I do know that it does not have 100% compatibility. Some info has been posted about it on here. Google for more.

No problem. It was just a heads up more than a scolding or anything. If you need any more help, just post. I know some people on here are using the disc backup loader, so even though I can't help, someone else might be able to.

I use the backup loader. So far, while I haven't played TONS of backups (maybe 3-4), all of them have worked flawless with the latest backup loader. It's only going to get better as it's still in the early stages. Let us know if you have any questions about chips or the backup loader.

2 Games that didnt work for me with the Backup Launcher was Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn and Mario Strikers Charged. Can someone else verify this so I know if I have to make another backup or not. Im using Backup Launcher Gamma 0.3. Is there a more recent version?
