i installed it and when i play a backup, it runs great, except all the colors are black and white.
and it won't run regular games at all. i tried twilight princess (ntsc retail disc copy), and it just shows a black screen.

any suggestions?

actually, i have another question.
if i format my wii, and start it up what all do i have to reinstall for softmii?
do i do the entire process again?

I would either format or update your console and start the process over, and see what happens from there.
