I have a brand new Nintendo Wii Version 3.4U
I want to load GC/Wii Backups
I want to load Imports like Tatsunoko Vs Capcom
I want to run Emus like Mame, Sega, Snes9x, GameboColor, TG16
I know I need a modchip for more compatibility options but I am traveling in the next 2 days
and I want to be able to play Tatsunoko Vs Capcom
I have read the tutorials which state to stay away from Version 3.4 but I am lost since I bought my system late
I plan on getting a modchip but I wanted to know what can I do in the Meantime since I wont be able to get it in like a week or so..
Can I downgrade to Version 3.2/3.3?
Do I have to have the Twilight Game?
What files from the Homebrew Channel are compatible with Version 3.4?
Does anyone live in the MetroWest Orlando area I will be willing to pay for an installation of a wii modchip I will be in the area for the next 2 days

Yes you can downgrade .You should most definetly downgrade to 3.2, get zelda twilight princess, have internet connection, a 2 gigabyte sd card and some patience. hope this helps. Also Check the forums for a twilight hack guide and a downgrading guide.

Im getting Twilight Princess 2morrow
Will I be able to play backsups or Do I need a modchip for that?
And where can I find the easier Tutorial I wanna be able to set everything thing up in under 2 hours

You should be set once you get Twilight Princess. I suggest downloading the latest SoftMii (which is on our front page). It has a tutorial to do everything including setting up the homebrew channel and downgrading to 3.2. Just be patient and don't forget if you run into any problems just ask.

I was able to get Homebrew Channel installed
I installed Wad Manager Version 3
Installed CIOS Installer plus Fix
Installed IOS16-64-v257-prod.wad
Installed Shop IOS551 (Without Updating)
I ran the Firmware Downgrader but the only options i see are 3.0J and lower ??
Where is the 3.2x Version???
And AnyRegion is giving me an error message

hi ive got all files needed for the twilight hack did everything i was supposed to when i walked up to the guy it started but then it said i was running wii system menu version 385 v24 usa it says homebrew channel only tested on 290 v18 is there any way to get around this please help i have 3.4u

I think there is a Twilight Hack specially for 3.4 systems, try with it.

There is a 3.4 Twilight Hack, Just install the channel.

Question for you all..I have the homebrew channel installed and softmii 2.1.1, can I now safely upgrade the os back to 3.4u?

i've got a question i installed the homebrew channel on my 3.2u system but i think i used the 3.4u twilight hack is that gonna hurt anything. one more thing if i remove the homebrew channel can i just start over. plz help thanks

I was talking about installing the channel with the 3.4 twilight hack , then downgrading from there JustinWoodypond. By the way, just download the correct hack for you system menu version.

Oh, gotcha. I thought you wanted to fully upgrade to 3.4. My bad, lol.
