Hi.

A few months ago I went through the prceedure to allow DVD playback on my Wii when it was first announced. Now, I upgraded to firmware 4.0 without realizing what I was doing. I want to downgrade, but I'm unaware if I have a cIOS installed because I don't remember if I was required to install one when messing with the DVD stuff. Yes, I have the HBC.

I don't believe you have a cIOS installed. As far as I know DVDx (used for DVD playback) is a hidden channel.
