Homebrew browser ≠ Homebrew channel. The homebrew channel only acts as a loader. It will load an application given to it. You need to download the homebrew browser application (which is a dol or elf file). Make sure it's named boot. The that should go in a folder of any name inside of a folder titled APPS on your SD card.
