I was stupid yes i was. before i installed the homebrew channel, i upgraded my wii to firmware version 4.1. I used banner bomb to install the homebrew channel. So heres my question, is the .elf file in my sd card tripping my ac adapter? because my wii randomly shuts off during game play(on the homebrew channel or using any other nintendo made wii channel).

Question 2: is there any program that can downgrade my wii without any chance of it being bricked? remember i have firmware version 4.1.

Yes, You my Guide for 4.1 Also what version wii are you. Depending on the Version and how new the wii is. It may mean you cannot downgrade.
