4.1U, HBC installed. Can't do custom IOS, ran TBR also

Just as said. I installed the HBC via bannerbomb, and installed DVDX and boot2(as IOS). However I cannot seem to get the custom IOS installed (IOS36?). I ran TBR and downgraded the IOS (15 I think) needed. I've ran TBR twice, and tried to install IOS36 via TBR and via the new IOS network installer by teckno (1.5 I think).
I've considered just updated to 4.2 and starting over, since there's a bunch of new stuff for 4.2U out. I wanted to check with the community before doing something like that though. Any thoughts?

I wouldn't Advise updating to 4.2 just because of the booot2v4, Alot of people seem to be getting this i would use the Dop Ios thing and try to Downgrade your IOS 15 or 35 or what ever the other IOS is to 15. Im not sure why it isn't working.
I wouldd suggest using maybe a differing installer for IOS36, if you just want it to play backups, maybe use something else.

Ok on not updating, thanks. I've tried the TBR and the teckno 1.5 IOS36 installer, neither work. Anyway I'll try the DOP IOS and see how that works. Thanks for the reply.

Has anyone put together a tutorial to get Backup Loader working on systems with Homebrew and menu system 4.1U? I've tried some variations of the 4.0 tutorials with no success. I can't seem to get my IOS downgraded to the point that I can install the required IOS's prior to doing the backup loader install. Any suggestions?
