Posted: Thu Jan 10, 2008 5:37 pmWell I know that someone will make a version of Linux for the Wii someday but there is a major problem with the design if that is the case and that is no hard drive storage space like with the PS2 and Xbox. That means SD cards would be used for storage unless there is some sort of motherboard mod that would allow a hard drive to be installed. That would require a major overharul of the Wii motherboard! I think the largest SD cards available are still smaller than the ones for the PSP. You can say I have a limited imagination but can anyone throw out some cool ideas for hombrew titles that would make use of the Wii's motion sensing capabilities? I mean what could you do with a hacked Wii that has not already been done better already? S*** the console is not even portable!
One last thing; the built in WiFi capabilities are awful and Nintendo knows this or else they would not offer a secondary WiFi adapter in the stores. There is no RJ-45 connection either. I think the Wii homebrew scene will go as far as the Game Cube scene did.

Probably so, I guess not much more can come of it that has already been made. Well I don't have a Wii anymore, so I got nothin to lose.
