Did you put the save data in the correct directory on the USB drive?

And I think either all or most saved data files do not work on PS3's that did not originally create the save file.

Unfortunately most of our download services are not working right now. We experienced a hacker attack and had to stop certain features for the meantime. Many people say that the game saves don't work that they download though. I'm unsure of why, but it seems each PS3 signs the files so they only work on the unit that made them, like AdventWolf says, but I'm unsure.

you need to go to Save Data Utility (PS3™) and it should show you the usb drive..


to be honest messing with game saves not created by your ps3 will work but will prevent any trophies being earned and some games wont actually load if it detects a save file alien to the console..

i lost a lot of game saves as stupidly i forgot to back them up before copying them over so back yours up man or you'll lose your sh!t
