Ok well I know there is an app for the PSP called psptube but this is something else. I upgraded to 2.01 on my PS3 and today updated to 3.73 on my PSP. Now when I do Remote Play over an internet connection I can turn my PS3 on even if I am not home. Then from the PS3 browser, which I can see now because I am looking at the PS3 XMB, I got to youtube.com and use the site as usual. The great thing about this is if someone doesn't have homebrew enabled PSP or if they can't get psptube to work then this is a viable option for those users. The only drawbacks I can see so far is that you have to have a PS3 (duh) and because the PS3's XMB is actually being streamed to the PSP, there is a little lag but it is not that bad. Also the internet connection plays a part in this. Now it should also be noted that the music player and videos on myspace don't work but they don't work when you are browsing from the PS3 physically either...so no real loss there.

Basically you can use you PSP as a remote screen to access your PS3. Right now it is only good for Photos, Video, and Music on your PS3 or from media servers that your PS3 can access. You can also browse the web from the PS3 as my article says. This is handy for times like the Youtube scenario. Eventually they plan to let you use your psp as a controller like for Forza, the psp would be the controls and the psp screen would be your rearview mirror. I think that feature is kind of cool.
