Well I have messed around with the PS3 a little bit and decided to check out the internet browser. It's awesome that you can download all those demos and addons and stuff. But when I go over them it won't let me download them, do I need to register an account or something in order to download them?

You do have to register a PSN id but I didn't think you could even get into the store without an ID. Once you click on what it is you want to download look up top to see the description. You should see a yellow button to download or buy. Sometimes the store is really slow so make sure you give the browser time to load the next page.

I'm not in the store atm, I was just on the internet browser. however I did make a PSN a little bit later but still no luck. Do I have to go to the PS Store in order to download the demos and stuff?

That is where I go. I don't know if it can be done anywhere else.

Ok I can download them now, I went to the PS Store instead of the Browser and I can download them.
Also what file formats does the PS1 games have on the PS3, can you download them and put them on the PS3?

Wow another great question. Unfortunately I don't have an answer for ya. Let me know what your research proves though.

Sony probably has some weird setup but it would be freakin awesome to be able to have all of my PS1 Library on my PS3. I'll see if i can find anything out.
