Brewology

I recently made an attempt to install Ubuntu 7.10 and ran into a few problems...no biggie but I was wondering what other ppl were using in their ps3s?For me,the most important thing is the emulators(SNES & Sega Genesis) and the ability to use the sixaxis controllers while playing them.
I read that the Feisty Fawn version was able to do this but as far as the Gutsy Gibbon goes idk.
In any case,I was just wondering what distro/version you guys feel works best.

I use knoopix. I like getting a basic version, and just modding it to my liking, Linux is great.
