I just realized, most games that I like that have series, the 3rd series is the one I
like best out of all of them.
Super Mario bros 3
Breath of fire 3 (FAVOURITE GAME OF ALL TIME)
Halo 3
Sonic the Hedgehog 3
Street Fighter 3
Sonic Advanced 3
Call of Duty 3 (really, I liked it better than 4)

your pretty much comparing classics to the new generation, but the 3rd sequel old school games are always great.

Your right most games are the best at their 3rd release. The only one that comes to mind for me that isnt a 3rd release would be final fantasy 7.

Halo 3 for now even tho i didnt really play the other halos since i didnt own the old xbox i would say that number 2 was better simply for the multiplayer maps. But that will soon change when they release new maps for halo 3.

Halo 3 did suck. Sold it awhile ago, Streets of Rage 2 was better than its sequels. Saga Frontier was better than its sequel.. it varies depending on the developer.. some companies have a habit of picking up where they left off.. others.. like bungie... just kinda make everything hazey... I am looking forward to Halo Wars though. RTS games FTW!

Is it true their going to make the pelican drivable?

I'm not sure if they would. People have wanted to drive pelicans since Halo 1. Imo, the battle is between halo 1 and halo 3. Halo 2, was great but lacked a lot of stuff that halo 3 has. The only thing I like better in halo 2 is the multiplayer maps, which will prolly change soon. But back on topic, I agree. Most games are better once they hit there 3rd release. BoF3 ftw.

bomberman 64 was off the chain
story mode was fun cause you had to set bombs up to make stairs and what not
the multiplayer was fun as hell esp. when i got 4 people to play
and then you could collect costume parts throughout story mode to customize your bomberman in multiplayer
i've played other bombermans and i don't like them one bit

third gen mario kart isn't really all that great i think the n64 one was the best

the first smash bros was awesome the second one sucked because you'd have characters that fight the same
capt. falcon and gannondorf??? hopefully the wii version won't make the same mistake except for being on the wii

halo3 was awesome well the ending was a lil lame but it was the last halo so i guess i can't be surprised

Super Metroid (No 3), Pokemon Sapphire (3rd generation pokemon), Metal Gear Solid 3.... I guess the 3rd time truly is the charm.

I guess this only deals with games, since most 3rd series Movie trilogies suck.

Except for Pirates of the Carribean, in which case 2 and 3 were more like 1 movie in all. So of course 3 ruled That and Fast and the Furious 3 was pretty sweet. But I guess it's more applicable towards video games.

Thats weird cuz i heard that tokyo drift wasn't very good, people didn't like it. And Pirates 3 sucked to me imo. Spirder Man 3, Rush Hour 3 are a couple more I didn't like.

Fast and furious 3 was almost most as good as the first one. The 2nd one was trash.
