i got an bought an ipod touch but dont know the screen lock. i hooked it up to my comp and itunes cant recognize it just the camera thing i run at windows xp and right now im downloading the latest version of itunes. what do i need to run it right?

Somebody just posted a thing on these forums about unlocking it ill go looking for it for you.

I couldn't find what I was looking for all I could find was the Iphone unlock one. Anyways is it just a number? If so try like 0000, 1111, 2222, 3333... etc.

i cant do anything right now with the ipod touch i think the only was is to restore factrory settings but i cant since i cant get to my itunes with it now and i have the latest version. i think the only way is the ipod updator but i cant find the right version that supports the ipod touch.

the ipod is on screenlock and i dont know the code and it has a code not like 0000 or 1111

i cant restore it because it wont go on itunes because its on screenlock but itunes can detect it.

is there a different program that can restore it to factory settings without itunes?

Don't they have a factory reset? Read the manual. Sorry if that sounds rude...
