Well recently my internet has been really slow, so me being me I screw around trying to figure out why. Well I tried getting to my router and it said wrong IP address so I went to google looked up my fake ip my router gives out then looked at CMD and it had changed? I don't know why it would change it has been the same for the last 6 months is this a good thing o bad? My internet is back to normal now but whats up? Should I phone my ISP?
I always thought I had a static IP address, but It can not be dynamic because well from what I Know it will only change ever six months?

A Dynamic IP could change as often as every 3 days!
Anyhow do you have a wireless network? If so someone might be on your network freeloading off of your internet. What kind of router do you use? How old is it? Are you using encryption such as WEP or WPA? There are many factors. I do not think calling your ISP will solve the issue. You need a network engineer to sniff out the situation as to why your network is slow.

My internet speed is back to normal, I think from when it was old to the new one it was slow. Anyways I believe I have a dlink router wired and its maybe between 1-2+ years old probably going to get a new one soon. Also I do not like when I have anybody touch my internet because last time the dude tapped us (keylogging us.)

Nice. Well if you have a wired router then you should know who is on your network. If it happens again then yes I think it might be worth calling your ISP and asking them what is going on since there is no one getting on over the air.
