Well i guess some of u remember when i posted about "I might get an iphone" back in the day (never went thru).

Well now im back. There is a rich kid at school whos getting a new phone....and behold is having his iphone for sell. I told him my offer ($100 ) thinking he was jkn at first for one and thats about all i got right now and he said great. He said we can meet one weekend and he will sell it to me. So im really happy.

My only problem is i have Verizon and not AT&T. Even if i jailbreak this bad boy (which i am going to do) i wont be able to use the phone function.

So its gonna be this to me:

Camera
2nd Ipod
Safari Browser
And a ton of jailbreak apps.


Any other thing i can do with this without the function of the phone? (I am totally gonna put Skype on here)

I have an HTC6800 which is supposed to be comparable to the iPhone. I like to put PDF files on mine so I always have a book handy. I do not play much music on my phone because it still sounds tiny and I do not own a headphone set. I save memory by not loading up my phone with songs.

Il probably only put a select few songs on it. Since i already have my 80 GB Ipod.

I think there's a way to make calls on it even if it's broken.
As long as you don't have a 3g card or something, right?

VZW is an open network now.
You can use a hard modded iPhone w/ VZW.

I dont think i want to hard mod the thing. Idk tho.....The phone isnt broken tho crait. I just dont have an AT&T card

Even without the phone its a sweet purchase for only $100.

there is, its called SIP-VoIP @ touchmods.net
but you need a SIP service provider and (MAYBE) s external mic. i dont think you will need the mic tho.

Well since it has a built in mike i think it would work.
