Iphone Ipod Touch?

Well i see the new 3G iphone will be coming out soon.....for a much cheaper price of $199. So it go me thinking....Should i wait to buy an Ipod Touch? Do u think the Ipod Touch price will come down?

i've read in several places and heard rumors of a 100$ price drop in the next month, at Most 2 months, which would be a worthwhile wait.

Yea, i agree. Maybe in a month it will drop so i can get the 16GB.

Ya, if you could get twice the memory for the same price just by waiting a few months, it would be worth it. I bet you'd feel kinda dumb if you went and bought an 8gb for 300$ and then they drop 16gb's down the next week

Muahaha! lol. A price drop would be nice, I was looking at the prices and they are a little too expensive. It probably takes $20 to make those things

You know so much about brew, but when it comes to other things you shock me.
Production Cost of the touch is ~150-200 dollars.

I see that if i want the new 2.0 features on an Ipod touch it will cost me $10. If i jailbreak it will i be able to get it free?
I read over on yahoo! that they dont expect a price drop on the touch. Besides, at my local best buy i can i can buy a Touch for $289 and then get a $45 dollar card i might be able to "sell" to mom. Dang i want a touch.

The ipod touch has got to be one of the worst investments any person could EVER make while shopping for media players.
It's a touch screen MP3 player people... what makes it so special? I have twice the amount of space as an Ipod touch with my Zune and I paid $100 for it (actually less than $5 b/c I sold my second PSP).

I am going to use it as that, along with surfing the internet, email, and 3rd party apps.
Its more then a MP3 player DPM.
