There Will Be Blood?

Man I have heard so many good things about this movie! I just now checked the rating it got on imdb.com. That is the worst site to look at movie ratings.. every time I look on their it is totally the opposite of how I feel. I mean I watched a good 6 movies in the past month and they were all good movies, I mean much better than There will be Blood, a better plot. Yet all of them received between 6.3-6.7... And this movie gets a 8.4? People think this movie was breathtaking, but I think it sucked balls. Has anyone else seen this movie? I think it was the worst 3 hours I have spent watching a movie. The soundtrack was just awful and the plot was terrible, I mean what were they thinking?! WoW. Can anybody enlighten me of why this movie is praised so much?
EDIT: Oh and where was the blood? Three guys died in the whole movie maybe? Hardly any blood at all. I thought this movie was gonna be about some guy killing people or something lol.

It's all about the money. Some big movie making productions will often pay sites to have there movies rating go up.
Sounds ridiculous, but they actually do it.
Higher ratings = Higher chances of people watching the movie.
Not to sure if they did it with this movie, I haven't seen it myself, so I can't say if it was good or not.
But then again, maybe you just didn't like it? Who knows. Haha.
