Yay!


Fran's very first egg!!!! It was just sitting there out in the open!!


This is how big it is compared to a grocery store egg! (Yes, that's chicken poop on it.)


All clean! About to drain it so I can keep it and put it on display forever!

Yesterday on the last day of the year, Fran finally laid her first egg today! I'm soo happy!
This year I'm going to have plenty of eggs!
If you don't already know, chickens can lay eggs without having butsecks.
It isn't fertilized, so I'm not killing anything if I eat it.
I actually blew it out meaning I poked a hole in the egg and blew the yolk and white out of the egg to preserve it forever!
I'm gonna get an egg stand so I can set it up for display!

my uncle has chickens and their eggs look exactly like that
its amazing how different those grocery eggs are then the all natural organic ones

just makes you wonder WTF do they do to the poor chicken

It's actually very dependent on the chicken. Some breeds lay big, small, or medium eggs.
Some lay brown, white, orange, green, blue or even pink eggs!

True, but a lot of eggs are bleached white because, people think there is something wrong with the brown eggs. The only brown eggs in are grocery stores are from local farmers.

But anyways congrats.

That is true too.
There's actually no difference in them. Just the color of the egg, despite popular belief.
