You can hack iPod Touches.
iPhones are 200 bucks though. Why not get that instead?

Cuz iPhones are freakin expensive! Monthly charges.
The iTouch probably has a better battery life too.

Yes you can probably hack it, the question is what do you really think it will be able to run in terms of applications/programs...My father bought me one of those a few years back the bootleg nano and it had a real simple interface everything just seemed so cheap and poorly put together about it. Hated the thing cause it would always become corrupted on me.

the only reason it became corrupt is because it probably had fake memory. (the programers put a cloak on the actual size of the memory card, so say it says 4 gb, it would only be around 1 or 2. If you go over, it can't take the data, and becomes corrupt.) Or so I've read ;) But like I said, this is only $39.00 US, which is way cheaper than an IPhone, or Ipod touch...

Usually they're open source and run .Bin files.
Usually they run Linux.
