I hope you all enjoy the new feature that we've integrated into the site. You may notice from the home page that we've added a chat box. The same rules apply for the chatbox that apply for the forums. Keep the chat box clean of any links to anything pirated, rick rolls, adult material etc.

To use the chat box, you have to sign up. Signing up is easy. Your username/ handle is optional when using the chat box, however, it's advised that you use your forum name for the registration so that people know who you are!!!

*NOTE* This feature may have some bugs during its initial releases. If there are any bugs you notice or if you don't even see the chat box at all, let us know what operating system you are on and what internet browser you are using. Thanks.

You should make it in the site instead of in a different cell.

I don't like how the different brew pages have different chat boxes. I can't view all the sites at work!

I think you have to have your PC at a high screen resolution to be able to see it.

i made this a bit back and finally put it up. DPM was kind enough to make a forum post for me.

its currently only enabled for firefox and ie7. ill test safari and put it on in the next few minutes. if you can test it in diff browsers for me let me know and i can whitelist them.

also do you think there should be a diff chat for each section ps3/wii/psp etc... or one for all?

it works great in my opinion... I'm using the latest firefox.

Seems like the new chat box is a little buggy. We're working towards making it work across more browsers. If you can test different browsers, like monkeymaximus says, we can help to figure out how to make it look better.

@ crait ~ We're looking for ways to put the chat box to better use. We may entirely change it's location, size, or incorporate it into different pages we haven't focused on yet. We're unsure of how we're going to use it just yet, but we're working it out.
