I think special titles are better than ranks. Everyone should be a brewer but only people that distinguish themselves should get titles.
I think this because the current system doesn't really reflect a persons knowledge on a particular topic. I mean just because you are ranked a "brew master", it doesn't mean you know much about the craft, you know what I mean?
I guess I am saying you can go up the ranks by posting videos or making inane topics like "what kind of shoes do you wear" and not know much about homebrew or any particular console. So the current rank structure in inadequate.
