I'm the "PSP" expert and I've recently come into the hands of a Slim 2000 version PSP and don't know the easiest/ safest way to throw custom firmware on it.

Just thought I'd make that public so you guys can make fun of me.

I used Pandora with my old PSP-1000 model to make my Slim HEN.
I did it twice and I don't remember how.

Really? Guys, make a pandora and load up any build of DC.
The one in my sig will do, you just have to update from 3.80M33.

Yea, it just uses the same Pandora stuff as the phat, except you gotta make sure you have at least 3.70 M33 or higher on your memory stick to install on the psp. (well actually 3.60 I guess, but 3.70 is more popular)

Well, I mean, you guys may know that I'm the "pandora's battery king" around these parts. The link to my tutorial in my signature is the most popular thread visited in the entire brewology by a long shot.

Yet... I've never messed with a Despertar Cementario version with a slim PSP. Man I really wanna homebrew this thing too. It's got an 8gb stick.

Umm... It's an auto installer, but you need a smaller MS.. 2GB is the Max.

I've used um... pspgrader and something or other else that makes the magic mms but uh... yeah... my phat psp battery has 0% charge and absolutely cannot be charged one bit at all. So it looks like I'm screwed. Even if it could hold 2% charge I could do it... but ... it won't charge one bit. Left it charging 14 hours - nada.

what exactly is the despretar cementario program, my slim just says it cant be started, i probly suck at seein wats goin on but r u usin a phat battery on a slim, cuz it wont work

I'm trying to use a phat battery on the slim, yes. And it should work, but to be honest, I don't think I can finish it up because my battery seems certainly shot. Can't even hold a 1% charge. I'm going to be borrowing a friends battery soon to see if I can ruin... err... use it to homebrew my PSP.

The pandora checks its self to see if it has at least 75% power. So if it really can't hold more than 1% you're S.O.L
