I got the messages. We still haven't nailed down that bug. I personally believe it is something new that sprung up since we added newer ranks. Possibly crait broke the system with his "developer" rank and the only way we can get it fixed is if he hypnotizes his chickens to make them find a solution.

But no, it's a bug related to how administrator's settings are and we just haven't figured it out yet.
