So. saturday is Sweet 16 for me. im going to buds creek to watch some Motocross. im pretty excited and ill get my new Compy that day(hopefully) which means im back on the scene once again. my sh!tty donkey 9 year old Dell Lattitude CPx died on me. it was terrible. 256mb of ram(PS3s have the same ram, but it runs about 30x faster. damn) and abour 120 mhz of prcessing. and so ive decided to ask, what compy you owm, what its specs are(RAM, OS(s), fsb ghz(or mhz), hdd size, battery life, etc.) and how you liked it. im curious. also, what would you change?

Ram doesn't have anything to actually do with speed unless you have faster ram, but that's something else for another discussion.
2gb ocz ram, 400gb hd space (a 250g and a 200gb), old non-dual layer dvd burner, 2.5Ghz dual core x2, 8600gt 512mb vram, Windows 7 RTM.
Out of all the computers i've built in the past 2 years mine is probably the worst lol, so I would probably change about everything (get a phenom x4 II, 200 series vid card, 2x 1TB hd's for raid 0, other stuff). I'm actually about to build a computer for a buddy of mine that I built him, and his dad a computer. He is selling the first computer I built him and getting me to build a even better one, very similar to the computer I just described in parenthesis.
That and my netbook has the n270 (1.6ghz), 2gb g.skill ram, 160gb hd, lasts like 5 hours. WinXP

Windiws Vista 64 bit. (Free upgrade to Windows 7 later this year)
Intel Core i7 920 (2.67 ghz) Processor
4 GB RAM
500 GB HDD
Single disc drive 32x
ATI RADEON HD 4350 (not really hi tech but it works quite well, you can buy a 4650 HD for $50 from newegg. I installed one yesterday and it works perfectly)
A bunch of card readers and and bluetooth built in.
