After getting bored with the used-to-be-funny "Im a Mac..and Im a PC" commercials, Verizon has now gotten my attention with their commercials. They have gotten my seal of approval. Its the funny..laugh like a little school girl kinda funny.

Come Christmas time, il have the best phone on the best network. Droid <3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xV--1rsi ... re=channel and if you win a certain upcoming contest, you could win something on the forums too (not my droid :p)

Those commercials are really funny.

I read something though where the coverages on those commercials weren't truthful... I think the areas in the AT&T map that had poor coverage did not show but the Verizon's map showed all of the coverage area. I forgot but it's something similar to that.
And I hate how Verizon's always boasting about how they have a 4G network.

The Alltell ads were better.

I don't know why but I can't stand Verizon's spokes person (the fat dude with the glasses). The Progressive Insurance girl annoys me too.

Whoa whoa whoa....

quote="asddasit"]Alltel is better where i live actually, and ATT bought them[/quote]
Alltel was primarily bought by Verizon.
1. A GSM carrier buying a CDMA carrier doesnt happen often- and didnt here with Verizon being the one buying Alltel, not ATT.

I think your thinking of Sprint. They are the only one with a 4G network right now- WiMax.

Thanks for correcting me. :D
It was Sprint-Nextell.
Sorry.

By the way, how come every Verizon phone out there has crappy GUI and choppy imaging?
Is it difficult to incorporate an alpha channel into your technology?

If you posted something like that on twitter they might look into it.

You have a point there. Luckily, their smartphones arent as crippled, and, in the droid and blackberry storm, they arent as all. Those are the only 2 I can vouch for.

I have an XV6800 smart phone and I can't get picture messages because I didn't sign up for a web plan.
Instead of getting pictures off the towers like everyone else, Verizon disabled that for my phone and made it so that you have to go online with one of their unaffordable web plans to get them.

The worse part about Verizon web plans is that they want you to pay for the service but then they discourage you from using it to it's potential.

I have the enV Touch phone for Verizon, it's not bad but the battery life is bad.
Verizon is o/k but I have been charged for stuff that shouldn't be charged for.

The storm really doesn't have that good of a theme. I believe...
I hate how a lot of the icons don't match and there's differences.. They're all minor things, though.
I think that Blackberry, to begin with, has crappy GUI. I hate how you'll have cute icons and a nice background but once you go to the menu and actually run something, it looks like crap.
