1 Million xbox live players banned..
That's a good 5% of the total players!
Microsoft says it's funny that most of them have hit craigslist already.
I say, good riddance, pay for the f**king games.
PS:I posted this in Xbox section, but I don't think anyone scroll down past general because it had like no views, so move it back if you wish admins.

TBH all thats gona happon is people are gona get a 2nd console, 1 for playing hacked consoles, and 1 for when they actualy buy them if they choose to buy the s**t game/s.
This is gona do nothing i dnno why the hackers are going "OHH SHET (had to leave uncensored for affect) WE ARE GONA HAVE TO SELL OUR BANNED CONSOLES FOR LIKE £5 oww wait why dont i keep it and by a 2nd 1 just for trying out the game? goood thinking man!"

People are selling their consoles for nothing!
And guess what! People are buying them for Christmas for family members or children!
That's a good idea, MS!

Honestly, no one is going to buy a modded xbox for their grandson Jeffery for xmas, at least not the people that I am familiar with.

People selling their modded 360's won't be advertising that they're modded.
They will say something like they want a different game system or they got a newer one.

Yea I'm definitely now going to keep my banned console to now finally play games like a month before they come out, good job microsoft! Now people won't be scared to play random leaked games without fear to get banned! And also everyone I know that got banned is just buying ones off ebay (like me) or refurb ones from gamestop so they didn't make any money from that.

I wish they wouldn't charge $65 for each game. Nothing is worse than blowing $65 on a suck a$$ game.
OH and now when they ban you they neuter your game console too! Supposedly you loose your ability to run games off the hard drive. and they scramble your profile so you can't move it from that console to another.
I think this is going a bit too far. Should they ban you from live for using a hacked console? Yes but they go to far doing anything more aside from suing you for copyright infringement.
You own the console, you should do what ever you like to it and they have no right doing anything to it without your consent even forcing updates on you.
I don't go on live anyways cause it's a waste of time for me. OH and I wish I didn't need a gold account to stream netflix via my Xbox.

Basically the only thing that changed this ban wave was that now the hard drive that was in the banned console at the time of banning, no longer has the ability to install games to the hard drive and it corrupts your xbox live account, as well as any game saves that you try to access on the banned xbox so that they are unusable. All you can do is buy another xbox and download the xbox live account to that xbox, and transfer your dlc content to it.

To me it seems that Microsoft... err... Macroscam... yeah, sounds better. Anyways, seems like Macroscam is vandalizing about 5% of their consumer base... not "protecting" them OR their company. Ban from live, sure, but they're just jacking their stuff up.

i like micro$cam( i mean the idea of the name i personaly hate the company) tbh, but on the basis you loose everything they basicly f up your xbox and deallow it to be ablee to play games off the same HDD is a vialation i personaly think, banning someone from live is fair, completly doing all that stuff isn't.
and especialy for the people who got banned unfairly this is anoying...
*forgot what i was gona say half way through* (Editing later)
