Android and Chrome OS are 2 different things.

Also Chrome OS (aka Google OS) will be debuting in the next couple of weeks.

He's talking about Chrome OS.
And it is one.
I think it's more of a run-time environment, though.

I've seen some pictures of Chrome OS. Nice idea.
Never need a Hard Drive and prevents illegal file sharing.
Noice.

Chrome has to support hard drives BKF... where the hell would you install the OS to if it didn't?

Chrome is going to be marketed toward netbooks. It's going to have a small install size since it will be mainly for use with google's webapps. However they are going to optimize the webapps with HTML5, allowing your computer's hardware to help with the applications instead of all processing being server side.

This OS is not going to be useful at all to a normal user. This will really only be for businessmen on the go.

No..It doesn't support them.

From Gizmodo- "It won't support hard drives, just solid state storage. I mean, hard drives are dying, sure, but this is pretty bold. Hardware support sounds like it'll be pretty slim"

Sorry, I thought you meant hard drives in general, not Hard Disk Drives.

Going a lil off topic but, "SSD"?
"Solid state"?
