Well, there are a bunch of reasons why people need QR codes, but as for this site, it was just an example. I thought it was really cool when I found out about it and just wanted to share with everyone else.

I am not against them tho I have used them for downloading applications from a cellphone. It was cool for a bit but I found it easier to just do it the old fashion way most of the time.
