i have a question about the movie... WTF is up with that wolf that is always in random scenes... like cloud and tifa are laying in the flowers and off to the right... the wolf is there! the wolf was also snitting around the buster sword! does anyone know the story behnd that wolf?

ya i wondering that to lol its like a sig that the ppl who made that game but like there names ect in the game but tha prob. put the wolf in as like a credit for there name u never no....

The Wolf's name is Red XIII. He was a playable character from Final Fantasy VII. You guys should really pick up this game youre missing out if you havn't played it.

Not that wolf dog thing i know about Red... the other one in advent children that sniffs around Zack's grave and around the sword... When Cloud dies right b4 he is ressurected in like the church the wolf gets near his head... that BROWN POINTLESS ONE!!! arrg its pissing me off

The Wolf is supposed to be significant of Mother(supposedly....but not confirmed). It was supposed to be left out but was put back in by order of the fans. The wolf is also seen in FFVII the game and FFIX

the wolf is the spirit of zack. That explains why its always around the buster sword (the sword belonged to zack long ago)

which would also explain why it SOUNDED LIKE ZACK!!!!!! and also just so you know.... the place were the buster sword was is also Zacks Grave...

alright so far in this thread the wolf is:
1. Mother
- i dont know why u think this
- Mother is Jenova... no? (why would it be a nice wolf)
2. Spirit Gaurdian Angel
- Would make sense since its always near him when he is at a near death experience
3. Spirit of Zack
- near his grave
- then why do we just see the spirit ofzack at the end of the movie?
we need some japanese guy to help us with this symbolism
