I once used Adobe Premiere to fetch a clip from a 50 cent video. Then exported to a certain format (I forget I think it was gif) and then was able to import in Macromedia Flash MX Pro and then mix it with another flash image I had created.

I deleted a long time ago Premiere, only messed with it for a bit. But there are ways.

I figured out how to do it already, just take the frames from the video and and use a gif animator to turn them into a gif.
Better way than instead of trying to convert it I guess.
