I used to be far away from the subject of renovation, but when it came time to update furniture, I had to study such issues... To understand how furniture delivery in Ikea works, I recommend you read the article
https://ultraassembly.com/services/online-order-and-convenient-ikea-pick-up-service/ It details everything point by point, even better than the official site!

Among the main disadvantages are:
duration;
lack of professional skills;
the need to purchase additional tools;
unpredictability of the result.
Finishing an apartment, performed independently, takes a long time, so repairs can be delayed for a long time. Repairs include the selection and purchase of materials, space planning, etc. It takes quite a lot of time to go shopping, comparing samples. In the absence of experience and skills of the owner of the apartment, you will need to further study the materials on what is best to use, how to choose finishes, etc. It is quite difficult for a working person to allocate so much time. Therefore, self-repair can last not even months, but years.
The lack of professional skills in construction and repair work often leads to poor quality results. So, when laying tiles, it is important to observe all the features of the technological process. Their violation can lead to the fact that ceramics on the surface will look completely different from what was originally planned. Even the painting of the walls must be done in compliance with certain requirements. A person who is far from construction and repair may not know some of the features and nuances that will achieve a really high-quality result.

I think I can help you, because I recently finished the renovation and I found a great site,
building supplies near me, which sells all sorts of goods for the house and its construction, for example. I was pleasantly surprised by the large assortment and therefore for the first time I wrote my review about this store. This is one of the best online stores I have ever used.

Not so long ago, I bought a new house and would like to ask you which skirting board should I choose so that my renovation is beautiful and cozy?

I don't like ordering furniture from the stores you mentioned above. It seems to me that chasing a large flow of customers, they completely forget about the quality of their products. But as for
Kitchen Cabinets MT HOLLY, NJ- they do a good job. I received my new kitchen from them last week, with lots of comfortable and spacious cabinets, as well as stone countertops. I'm so happy and satisfied with my new kitchen.
