I agree. I studied French at school, but I only remember some phrases, a couple of poems and a song.
Currently in the process of learning a fourth language

To avoid loss of skills, it is worth integrating the language into everyday life. Regular reading of books, watching films and speaking the language helps maintain and even improve your level.

Hey! Absolutely right, integrating language into everyday life is the key to maintaining skills! I also noticed that constant interaction with the language helps not to forget it. A great tool for this is Duolingo. Their app makes language learning fun and accessible, and the support from Duolingo customer support always throws up interesting ideas. This creates excellent conditions for constant practical use of the language. I've even started using them to practice on the go, which makes learning convenient and an integral part of my daily routine.
