Backmasking is great, especially when it's intentional. Weird Al Yankovich and Pink Floyd are great examples.

Well I just think its dumb because I can't make anything out of it. Like I already listened to the pokemon
song backwards it doesn't even sound like they are saying satan.
Just a bunch of screaming and people just try to make into something.

If something was played backwards, and it actually CLEARLY SOUNDED like something else, then the word would be a palindrome like racecar or poop or something. Satan isn't a palindrome, and while musical instruments have a part in backmasking, the real problem occurs when there's just no way that it is possible for something to sound like a clear cut word backwards if it isn't a palindrome to start with.
BUT, even then, words that are the same spelled forwards and back, like racecar, still won't sound clear when you play them backwards b/c of the pronunciation of the word.
I don't even see how backmasking is even slightly entertaining.
