That the staff on wiibrew is working pretty hard to get the news up to date.
Im just asking that you guys could try to comment on their stuff.

I just have the forums bookmarked. Comment on the wiibrew forums too, I have made like 40 topics in attempt to make the forums active. I will start posting news there as well.

Kinda sucks that I work so hard to post up the latest in Wii news and no one looks at it... lol. I guess there aren't that many brew members with Wii's. Go out and buy one people... it's a fun system, and some people don't know what they're talking about when they say it sucks. :lol:

Buy one, mod it, and start playing!

I take a glance over there once or twice a week to check out the news and see what kind of updates to the mod scene theres been.

You guys have really done a great job and kept the site up to date. Check your pm by the way.

Unfortunately, since all the mods out now are only drive mods, there isn't anything too exciting going on in the Wii hacking scene. The Wii's flash was dumped a little while ago, so I'm hoping something will come from that soon.

yeah i noticed that too...which is why i've held of from purchasing a mod chip. Hoping they can create some kind of custom firmware type of contraption from it.

Getting a modchip is worth it right now... Yeah it's just a drive mod, but it will allow you to play "backups" :lol:

. That opens up almost the entire Wii library. The mod chips out are pretty cheap. If you can solder or know someone who can mod your Wii, I'll even mail you one of the open source mod chips for $5.

Yeah its an option... but i'm still going to sit back for about another month to see what comes of this flash dump. I'll keep you in mind though for that chip.
