Desktop Background

This is my desktop http://img249.imageshack.us/img249/516/ ... elpct0.png (Click enlarge) also (i'm on my windows 2000 pro computer not my vista) and was just wonder you see were all the applications are and the name of them well the background for the name is white how do i make it transparent I have been trying forever and just forget.

I dont think you can make the background transparent......it will just turn out white. Its the same for pictures when your viewing them.
The only exception to this would be the icons. (and others but theres probably tons)
PS: Is Flash CS3 any good? Is that Flash professional? If it is, is it good?

But in my folders they are transparent?

What are? The backgrounds? Sorry man but no matter what they will appear white.
It aint like photoshop man.

Not always like look http://img443.imageshack.us/img443/9208/sseeof1.png those are transparent but its in a folder.

The background looks blue to me (maybe its my moniter) but that doesnt look transparent.
If it is no matter what it will show as white.

Right click "MY Computer" than hit properites. Advanced settings. You should see something about visuals.

Yea I did that devil but all I see is Performance, Environment Variables, and Startup and Recovery.
