Brewology

heres what happened :

1. My dad no like XP on his laptop.
2. Me put vista because that the windows that come with laptop.
3. Me update driver via windows update.
4. WiFi icon no longer there in taskbar..
5. Me can only open it from, Control Panel>View network status and tasks>Manage wireless networks.

this big problem because my dad go on flight today and he a bit old so he really dont want to do that, he prefer the one on the taskbar..

ok no more funny lang... so yeah, i need help pretty fast cuz my dad is leaving in a couple..

airplanes18 : yes i know vista is my problem, but the wifi used to come before and thats all i want..

Maybe you can't find it because the SSID is hidden?

figured it out.. since i was using the internet using the Ethernet port.. it wasnt coming, but when i pull the wire out, it comes instead of the LAN tray icon.. edit - sorry about being a complete noob.

~ moved to PC Brew~
