Ok I was just on my laptop and it just randomly shut down out of nowhere. btw I'm typing this from my iPod. It was plugged in soo battery wasn't an issue and I've also had suspicions that someone has access to my ip and such. And I tried turning it back on and it won't. Is there possibly another way to restart it? And how would I prevent this from happening again? And if u havnt noticed. I'm technologicly retarded. So work with me

If this is your desktop then it might have gotten a short (no not the cloth) .... open the pc and you will find a small battery on the motherboard, take it out, put it back in properly and ta-dah.... if its a laptop, I'm sorry...

Is the power led coming on when you hook up the power cable?

I would like some more information... No lights or screen flashes or anything? What kind of computer do you have? What operating system do you usually use on that computer? Could you remove computer components if you needed to?

When I press the power button the ONLY thing that happens is a little indicator light blinks 3times that's it. Nothing else I'm using a sh*t compaq with vista. I'll hear remarks later. And this has happened once before and my moms laptop did the same thing at the same time. But she was at work last night and didn't affect her. But last time. She lost slot of her documents and such. Is there any more info u need? And I have no idea about components. Airplanes is comin over later I'm gonna see if he can help too

3 blinking lights... one of my old laptops did that.. the ram sounds like it aint it. thats what it did too. all see more about it when i get there.
