Posted: Mon Nov 29, 2010 4:19 amAT&T has something called a "Retention Center". That's basically the only people to talk to of any use to you or anyone else that calls. Basically, if you call them, ask to be put through to their "Retention Center" and they will put someone from the USA on the phone with you. That person has a job, and that job is to KEEP you as a customer, so you can get all sorts of free sh*t like getting out of paying a bill, a free modem, free cables, and elevated tech support that they normally only give to businesses.
I've switched to Comcast, but the only good thing about AT&T after my experiences with them (for internet) was their Retention Center.
