[Tutorial] Codec Pack installation on Linux.

Note :
If while using Method 1, an image like this opens up :

then just simply press <tab><enter>

So if you've ever migrated from windows to a Linux OS, you'll probably try to watch a video or play an audio file and then there's a problem. NO CODECS INSTALLED. So you try to install a windows codec pack, but wait Linux doesn't run .exe files. Oh crap, wait maybe wine will help, but even that won't work.

But not to worry, it's quite easy to get your video/audio files playing.

Method 1 [The Codec Pack Method] :
Well it's quite easy, simply open terminal.
Type in "sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras" (Without Quotations), enter your password, and proceed with the install.
After the download (Could take a while) you should be able to play back most media files.

Method 2 :
Install VLC, VLC comes with all internally installed.
So just open terminal and type in "sudo apt-get install vlc" (Without Quotations), enter your password, and proceed with the install.
