actually looks pretty decent. I would say that this is your first 'true' avatar. But what i would do is get rid of the squigly lines on the side.

get another image in the backround and blend it... then it would get a 5/10... sorry i just think its kinda plane
and in samus' armpit its not cut well... try zooming in on it to cut it better!

the squiggly lines, the background AND the foggy stuff on the background needs to be improved but i think this is your best so far mailas... getting better at sigs huh? hope you havent dumped gamemaker

your pic looks worse then the original.
in the original, you can see the image in the background, and its blends nicely.
your pic is confusing, and will give headache if you keep looking at it. your background is too blurry is what iam trying to say
