ok... i need help

i need help with 2 things...
1) i need to learn how people do that cool donkey border thing where its like 2 borders. (like on clmt's and psportable's signature.)
2) once i got that i need someone to give me a theme so i can make something new cause i am really board.

Ok.. Border lines are done by strokes.. You have to use the rectangular marquee tool, and put it over where you want the border to be.. You need a little hand-eye coordination for this.. But once you have the dotted line blinking where you want the border to be, click edit, and then stroke.. I would suggest a stroke at 1 pixel thats black, but do whatever fits your graphix...

Wow, It's much simpler in the GIMP. Select all, fill with black, shrink selection by 1, clear selection, shrink selection by 1, fill with black, shrink selection by 1, clear selection.

it sound more difficult in gimp like pstation said its really just 2 strokes with the marquee tool not hard at all.

thats probably because u have the feather at like 3 or sumthin change it to 0
