FF7 "weapon challange"

has any1 ever tried the weapon challenge that was on gamefaqs.com? Ive tried searching the ff7 section on that page but cannot find it. Its pretty old, but ive never tried it, if any1 knows where it is, please give me a link.

DUDE!I downloaded the a save file for this sorta thing to my pc version, AND IT RULES!Im fighting all the weapons!And I have full complete!

you talkin about the million hit point monsters? a beat them all (3 i think) all you need is the summon "knights of the round", and the rest of your characters to have mimic for free "knights" spell. the only hard one is the one under water where there is a time limit of 20 min, or an item that takes away the time limit (sorry forgot which one) but i beat it without the item, with about 5 seconds to spare... mastering mimic with all of your characters takes awhile, however you need tons of levels (hp and def) to destroy these giant beasts, good luck!

i did it on ps1!! they come near the end of game, they are big on the world map, you cant miss them

yeah, its ruby weaon(optional), emerald weapon, and ummm one other dude....uhh i cant member his name but u have ta fight him like 5 to 7 times to kill him. each time u fight him the nixt time u fight him, he gets stronger, and u fight him from the highwind

YEa, u can either have ur own Final Fantasy 7 pc versio or u could have the reuinnion patch installed, u get much better game graphics.But the reuinion patch requires ff7 too.

interestingly enough, I had a friend who beat all the weapons by attack alone...with cloud
After he beat all the weapons like that he vowed to never play the game again

he musta had like 99 hero drinks 99 mega elixers and like the ultima weapon and the final weapons for everyone in his party...........omg i cannot beleive he did that

well actually, he
only used Cloud, and it was some form of multiple cut materia and mime, and counter attack and all sorts of stuff, it was extremly complicated, actually beat ruby weapon faster with just attacking then mime/summoning knights of the round. He beat Emerald wpn so fast, he didn't need the underwater materia.
Then again, this friend also got the second best wpn in FF8 on the first island and was lvl 99 by the end of disk 1. He also memorized every dungeon in Zelda 3, a Link to the Past and he memorized the entire map of Super Metroid, including all secrets. He employs whats known as the "no life strategy".

hey, dont get me wrong i LOVE games and am a total game addict, but
i dont memorize stuff like THAT lol
