Does anyone know how this works? And is it actually a website (you need a connection?) or is the browser just the way to access the file?

This is cool!

no, this is a website, and yes, you need a wireless connection. Im not sure on how to install portals on a 2.0, thats for devilsadvocate to answer.

Oh okay. is he around?

And something i'm having trouble understanding is why do we want this? It lets us run games and apps, which we can already do on our 1.5. Then, we can also have a good web browser on our PSP with that new thing (that I cant figure out how to put it on my psp  )

So what does this portal give us?

it works on 2.50 and 2.0 and you dont need an internet connection (unless you want to view the links). This Utilizes your browsers capability to display html, java, etc. All you do is tell your browser to open the .html file and it has a few java games... nothing special. No this will not change the way your whole psp works... its basically just a webpage that you can access without being online.

yeah, i was just gonna say what he said.

if u nread the instructions, it says to type in "File:/common/...etc.." and dont need the internet to access files on ur psp.
however, the links ofcourse need internet.

but yeah it should work for 2.0 cuz we are not working with the psps system itself, were working witht the browser, and there are
no blocks on the browser.

most likely it wouldwerk for the 2.5. but if he says it WILL work, then i guess it will but i have a few doubts of that.
